I totally agree, that even with 10 trucks participating we need to setup a tech inspection, two heat running configuration, grid, paddock, and a drivers meeting to clue everyone in on how it's supposed to work. This is EASILY a 1/2 day worth of the event.
I think one of the downfalls of the organization at Nationals this past summer was fighting for attention with the drag strip. It's hard to get people to stop driving long enough to help out if there are other places to be driving your truck. Well that, and we also didn't do much planning before we got there
